What is Gothic? Gothic is identified with &/or defined as medieval, mystery, gloom & grotesque.

GotGoth's definition is derived from Princeton University's WordNet, a lexical database for English. Here is a link to their actual definition for your reference> [link]

GotGoth is a "non-elitist" group:

Any artist who is interested in Gothic art is welcome to join.

Any form of Gothic art (including but not limited to: drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, fashion) is added.

Any Gothic art ranging from beginner to advanced levels is added to the "Gallery" (members) or to "Faves" (non-members)

Any Gothic art is added to "Featured" when it's clear that the artist has invested much time, thought, effort & skill into creating it.

Our standards are attainable! Check out the current "Featured" section in both Gallery & Faves to see for yourself!

The number of Gothic art submissions is limitless

EXPIRED Submissions / Call for CONTRIBUTORS

I've noticed that there is a huge number of EXPIRED submissions again! I perceive this as a "good" problem.

It's good because it means that GotGoth is growing. However, it's also a problem because it means our current number of contributors cannot accommodate all submissions!

So, if you are interested or know anyone who is interested in contributor-ship for GotGoth, please send me, soveryartsy or Nelchee a message!

To our dear members whose submissions have expired, we sincerely apologize for our shortcomings. Please submit them again and we will try our best to accommodate them!
